Sculptor and Jewelry Designer (please inquire regarding Jewelry) Caryl Picker philosophically approaches her creations with symbolism and personal style. Born and raised in New York City, at age 13, Picker created her first piece of sculpture under the tutelage of Will Barnet, at the Birch-Wathen School. She later began her artistic studies at Finch College and continued at such renowned institutions as the Art Students League, Parsons School of Design and The Sculpture Center. She has studied privately with such notables as, Will Barnet, Leon Kroll, and Harold Castor. Picker’s works are highly coveted by both corporate and private collectors. All Picker’s sculptures were cast in limited editions. Her sculptures are on permanent display can be visited at Temple Shaaray Tefila, NYC, and at The JCC in Scranton, PA. In 1992 Picker's sculptures were featured in Tiffany’s Fifth Avenue windows and a larger- than- life, La Valse, was commissioned by the Marriott World Trade Center Vista Hotel lobby and perished on September 11, 2001.
