Meet the Artist:
The Palm Beach Design Showroom is thrilled to present a night with artist, Garrett Wayne Walters. Join us Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 6-8 pm for an exclusive Artist Lecture and live Performance. Walters is a multidisciplinary artist and musician that will be unveiling new works and taking us on a musical journey of his career and process. Having studied under many amazing artists, some being Shepard Fairey and Cleon Peterson, he derives the same bold styles with vibrant colors and an unmistakable compositions that push Contemporary Art.
After the Lecture there will be a live performance in EWI ( Electric Wind Instrument an improvised music set rooted in Jazz and Classical music.
“I paint and make music to help myself better understand life. Often times I am confused by the power and magic all art has on people. So I make abstract work to access the transcendental. Improvisation is the key for me. Random controlled chaos is my work. Space for me is the ultimate subject; both inner-space and outer-space. Creating a space to make art is more important than any final piece. It lets me turn off the anxious part of my brain and forces me to be patient in contemplation.
